Here's a list of everything we are currently not able to cover.

We're always looking to expand on what we're able to cover so just because we can't cover it now, do not necessarily mean we won't we able to cover it in the future so make sure you check back and see what's new!

About You

  • Driving licences issued outside of Great Britain (including licences issued in Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands or any other state.)

  • Residing outside of Great Britain without a fixed residential address in England, Scotland or Wales. Including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands or any other state.

  • Residing in Great Britain for less than 1 year.

  • Applying for a quote on a vehicle that you are not legally able to drive (e.g. driving licence restrictions) and you must comply with any driving licence restrictions that may be applicable to you.

About the Vehicle

  • For cars: Must not be valued at less than £1,500 (minimum) or more than £65,000 (maximum).

    For vans: Must not be valued at less than £1,500 (minimum) or more than £40,000 (maximum).

  • Must not be a Lorry, Minibus, Horsebox, Motor Caravan, Motor Home, Recovery Vehicle, Licenced Taxi or Minicab or a Tipper.

  • Must have no more than 7 seats in total.

  • Must not be left hand drive.

  • Must not exceed a GVW (gross vehicle weight) of 3.5 tonnes.

  • Must have no modifications from the manufacturer’s standard specification (this excludes where the modifications are for the purpose of aiding disabled drivers).

  • Must not be a short period hire or loan car, including vehicle rentals, vehicle salvage and recovery agents, credit hire vehicle companies and accident management companies.

  • Is not currently seized or held in a police compound.

  • Vehicles currently declared SORN (Statutory Off-Road Notification).

About the Use

  • Must not be used to release a seized vehicle from a police or local authority compound.

  • Must not be used for hire and reward, racing, pace-making, speed testing, commercial travelling or use for any purpose in relation to the motor trade.

  • Must not be used for carrying hazardous goods or used at a hazardous location.

  • The vehicle must not be imported or exported during the duration of the cover.

  • Must not be used for any commercial purposes in connection with the motor trade including the buying or selling of cars or the repairing or servicing of cars.

  • Must not be used to carry passengers or goods for payment, to carry goods or property that do not belong to you, or to deliver fast food for payment or reward.

  • Must not be used for fast food delivery, parcel delivery or courier use of any kind.
